Rent a projector room at City Hall to screen, rehearse or present

Put your slides, a film or your choreography video up on the big screen. The projector room is our Grand Studio: both rooms opened into about 1,000 sq ft, fully private, seating 30 to 50 for a talk, with the projector set up and the HDMI cable, a clicker, Wi-Fi and a mic ready when you arrive. It’s $180/hr off-peak, or $90/hr on your first booking.

Per hour. Trial is your first booking with us. Off-peak is Mon–Fri, 6am–6pm. Peak is weekday evenings, weekends and public holidays. The projector is included.

Before you book

What can I use it for?

A talk, workshop or training for your team, a film or a match with friends, learning a choreography from the video on the big screen, or playing back your own run-through.

Can we hold a talk or a training here?

Yes. It seats 30 to 50 on chairs, there are 8 tables (more if you ask ahead), and the HDMI cable, a clicker, Wi-Fi and a microphone come with the room. NUS has held a talk here.

What do I plug in?

Bring your laptop, phone or iPad with what you want to show, and plug it into the HDMI cable. We don’t supply streaming accounts or slides.

Which room is it?

The Grand Studio: the Party and Music studios opened into one room of about 1,000 sq ft, fully private, for 10 to 30 people on their feet or 30 to 50 seated. The projector is on the Music Studio side, and the Party Studio side has the semi-sprung floor and the mirror wall, so dancers can learn from the screen and check themselves in the mirror.

Is there sound for a screening?

The JBL Bluetooth speaker comes with the room. RCF theatre sound can be added: ask us for the price.

Can I walk in?

No. We’re open 24 hours, but every visit is by appointment, so please have a confirmed booking before you head down.

Can I cancel or change the date?

Bookings are final once paid: non-refundable, non-transferable, no date changes. That’s why we confirm everything on WhatsApp before you pay.

How fast do you reply?

We reply within 48 hours, and Monday and Thursday are our admin off-days. If your date is close, send the form and then tap WhatsApp as well.

Will someone be there when we arrive?

It depends on the time. Someone from the team meets you at the door, or we send you the door code before you come. From November, someone will be there to receive every booking.
