A private, daylit room with a Yamaha GB1K grand in it, the piano included. Practise for a recital, record a cover, or film your playing with the phone tripod that stays in the room. With the piano, your first booking is $80/hr, then $130/hr off-peak.

Studio 02 Per hour, plus $30/hr for the grand piano, which is included on this page. Trial is your first booking with us. Off-peak is Mon–Fri, 6am–6pm. Peak is weekday evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Parking is in The Adelphi basement, entrance on North Bridge Road. Drop-off is on Coleman Street.
Before you book
Which piano is it?
A Yamaha GB1K grand with an adjustable bench and a music stand. It lives in this room.
Can I record here?
Yes, on your phone or with your own gear. It’s a rehearsal room with a Yamaha grand piano, not a professional recording studio, so there’s no sound engineer or booth. A vintage microphone, a Bluetooth microphone and RCF theatre sound can be added: ask us for the price.
Can I film a piano video?
Yes. The phone tripod stays in the room and the windows give you daylight. If you shoot after dark, a Neewer filming light can be added: ask us for the price.
Is it really private?
Yes. Once the Party Studio entrance is locked, nobody comes in or out mid-session.
Can I teach my own student here?
Yes. Teachers are welcome to book the room for their own lessons.
Is there a rate for practising alone?
Yes, we do a solo practice rate. Message us on WhatsApp with the days and times you’d like, and we’ll tell you the price.
Can I play late?
Yes. The room is soundproofed and there’s no noise limit at night. We’re open 24 hours, by booking.
Can I walk in?
No. We’re open 24 hours, but every visit is by appointment, so please have a confirmed booking before you head down.
Can I cancel or change the date?
Bookings are final once paid: non-refundable, non-transferable, no date changes. That’s why we confirm everything on WhatsApp before you pay.
How fast do you reply?
We reply within 48 hours, and Monday and Thursday are our admin off-days. If your date is close, send the form and then tap WhatsApp as well.
Will someone be there when we arrive?
It depends on the time. Someone from the team meets you at the door, or we send you the door code before you come. From November, someone will be there to receive every booking.
